I'm a young soul, married to the love of my life with two wonderful kids, who has loved The Lord of the Rings story since the age of seventeen when I first read the book.
I waited nearly thirty years for those movies to be made and I could kiss Peter Jackson's feet for the amazing work he did bringing this story to life on the big screen.
I'm also a Bonafide Frodoholic - have been forever, and I'm grateful for the excellent job Elijah Wood did in portraying my all time favorite fictional character. He so deserved an Oscar for his contributions to the award-winning films. It's a damn shame he didn't receive one.
I'm also grateful for meeting a great group of women and having a blast with them over the last three years while waiting for all three movies to be completed. We didn't start out here, but The Grey Havens is our home now. Meeting some of these lovely ladies at Lincoln Center in NYC in January 2004 was the "icing on the cake" for me and I hope to meet more buddies in future events.
